Realty major Unitech on Thursday said it expects revenues to grow 60 per cent in 2007-08 and will borrow between Rs 2,000-3,000 crore (Rs 20 billion- Rs 30 billion) in the current fiscal from domestic markets to fund its various projects.

"I think we will grow by 50-60 per cent revenue in fiscal 2007-08," Unitech managing director Sanjay Chandra said in New Delhi. Unitech, the second-biggest realty firm on the bourses, posted total income of Rs 2,599 crore (Rs 25.99 billion) - a near four-fold jump from Rs 674 crore (Rs 6.74 billion) in the previous year, according to the annual results filed with stock exchanges.

Chandra also said property prices were not yet close to the peak and office rentals were rising. Prices of residential units were stable, he said, adding they would go up when home loan interest rates decline.

Besides, the company is aiming to generate revenues of over Rs 15,000 crore (Rs 150 billion) by fiscal 2010-11 from its residential project Unitech Grande, he said. The project is spread over 347-acre land on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
