Jet fuel prices up by 2.86%

State oil companies have raised aviation turbine fuel (or jet fuel) prices by 2.86 per cent in line with rising international oil prices.

ATF prices in Delhi were increased to Rs 37,799.54 per kilo litre from July 1, from Rs 36,746.53 per kilo litre, according to Indian Oil [Get Quote] Corp. In Mumbai, the prices went up by Rs 1,088.56 per kl to Rs 39,062.46 per kl.

ATF prices this year have been on a roller-coaster - they went up in January, fell in February and then were raised for three consecutive months in March, April and May. The prices were last raised in June.

Jet fuel prices for international airlines, who do not have to pay local sales tax, went up from 697.89 dollars per kl to 708 dollars per kl in Delhi. In Mumbai, the rise was 10.06 dollars to 701.91 dollars per kl.
