PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I think Teledata is a good hold. They are demerging and giving free shares to current shareholders which will also get automatic listing thereby increase shareholder value. Capital Hotels I don't follow sorry.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, i think in the short term they could still have a negative bias. Once they actually start delivering projects and good quarterly results we could see upward movements.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I would surely hold on. Despite the Rupee appreciating which would cause slight dent on the margins, I would still hold on as the companies themselves are pretty sure they would be able to tackle the rising Rupee problem.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Hi Sp, Yes Bank has ambitious plans and a pretty aggressive strategy especially in the newer areas of financing. But it could be affected by the rising interest rates. Although, it has some good management with ample experience at the top. Tata steel is a very long term play. Right now you could hold on for the Rights issue.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I would strongly advise to study a particular stock, sector and the market in general before taking investment calls. For Pantaloon there are a lot of factors affecting the company. There is a strong possibility of global giants entering the retail market in a big way. Strong local players like Reliance are also entering the markets. So it could face stiff competition in the times to come. But as a company they are performing well.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, On the back of better inflation numbers the RBI may not hike the interest rate further immediately. So in the very short term the Banks stand to benefit. But on a longer term the rising interest rates could affect them. IFCI and IDFC are holds according to me.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You oculd hold on. The Budget has been beneficial for Fertilizer manufacturers.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, I am bullish on both of them. The Real Estate company will take a bit more time to deliver strong results but the Financial Services arm will perform well. They are pretty aggressive in their market share acquisition. Also there is news of IB demerging its Stock Broking business which could lead to further value creation.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, It is difficult to predict a target for tomorrow let alone two months. But there are various factors affecting the stock, like equity dilution due to rights and preference share issues. Fund raising activities and the actual acquisition of Corus and digesting the same. So the stock in the short term could be range bound.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, Two months down the line the markets could test all time highs but its anyones guess. There are various MF houses like Templeton, SBI Mutual, DSP ML and others who offer good funds with a good mix of products.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You already saw the effect in Feb and March when the markets tanked. A loarge part was because of inflation fears. But Inflation in a growing economy goes hand in hand with growth. But if it is not curtailed there could be trouble. Our government is trying to curb it and seem to have been successfull as the last weeks inflation figures suggest.

PRANAV SANGHAVI answers, You have age on your side so a bias towards growth fund read equity is not a bad idea. If you are a new investor it is always advisable to invest money through experts who are in a better qualified to invest the money.
