Ending months of acrimony and legal disputes, Jet Airways on Thursday struck a deal to buy out Air Sahara for Rs 1,450 crore (Rs 14.50 billion).
While Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal said this price represents a 40 per cent discount to the originally agreed price, the shareholders have raised a stink, as they are not likely to benefit much because of the lower price.
