Global biz meet in Germany from July 5

A four-day Global India Business Summit will be held at Cologne from July 5 to promote investment in various sectors.

The summit is organised by the World Malayalee Council, Europe Region.

Speaking to reporters at Kochi on Wednesday, Jolly Thadathil, general convener and Global WMC vice-president, said another aim of conducting the summit was to develop a mutual platform for healthcare, ayurveda, medical tourism, professional education, IT, tourism real estate for NRIs and Foreigners in India.

About 200 delegates from Kerala, including state and central government representatives, are expected to attend the summit, he said.

The summit is also aimed at attracting investers and industrialists, especially from the European region, to invest in Kerala, he said.

Pointing out that in the recent International IT Exhibition held at Germany, the Indian IT stalls had attracted wide response, he said, adding "it is a good sign."
