Home loan rate cuts are once again in the air. While public sector banks, 28 in all, will be reducing home loan rates on a five-year loan of Rs 5 lakh to 8.5 per cent and for home loans between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 20 lakh to 9.25 per cent, most private banks too are likely to follow suit.
