Dravid, Sehwag unlikely to attend camp

Rahul Dravid [Images] and Virender Sehwag [Images], who were part of the World XI line-up that lost tamely to Australia in the just-concluded Super Series, arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday evening and left for Nagpur and Delhi respectively.

Indian captain Dravid took a connecting flight to Nagpur after landing in Mumbai from Australia, to be with his newborn child and wife, while Sehwag and his wife left for Delhi, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India sources.

The two players are unlikely to take part in the three-day camp for the Indian team members picked for the first two one-day internationals against the visiting Sri Lankans, which started in Bangalore on Wednesday, the sources said.

The first tie of the seven-match rubber against Sri Lanka [Images] is set to commence at Nagpur on October 25.

The Lankans are scheduled to reach India on Thursday and would start their tour with a warm-up game against Mumbai Cricket Association President's XI in Mumbai on October 22.
