Accusing the Congress of betraying him, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said the party left no stone unturned to trouble him.

"After the Left withdrew support from the United Progressive Alliance on the nuclear deal issue, my party extended unconditional support to the Congress and saved the government. But I am deeply hurt with the treatment meted out by the Congress. The party left no stone unturned to trouble me," Yadav said addressing an election rally in Ambedkarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Attacking the Bahujan Samaj Party government in Uttar Pradesh, he said that instead of providing employment to the youths, Mayawati government is taking away their jobs.

"The UP government terminated services of 22,000 police personnel. This government instead of providing jobs to people is taking away their jobs," he said.

Terming the BSP as anti-dalit, he said that people should build pressure on the state government to reinstate retrenched police personnel by launching an agitation.

Assuring the people that his party will work for the cause of farmers, the poor, women and youths, Yadav claimed that the next government at the centre would not take shape without his party's support.

"No government can be formed at the Centre without SP's support," he said, adding that a government which works for the farmers, poor and unemployed is the need of the hour.
