IT major Dell on Wednesday announced the launch of a new range of notebook and desktop computers under brand name 'Vostro,' especially designed for small businesses.

"Vostro brand products and services have been designed specifically for simple network and businesses with less than 25 employees," Dell India vice-president and general manager Rajan Anandan told reporters in New Delhi.

Vostro brand desktops and notebooks come in the price bracket of Rs 22,900 and Rs 36,000.

Initially, Dell will import the new range of products and later it will manufacture these in India. The company will use its existing channels for distribution and is also talking to the big players in the segment. The company has plans for direct sales too.

With the launch of new products, Dell is expecting a growth of over 30 per cent in its revenue in the current fiscal. Its turnover was Rs 2,000 crore (Rs 20 billion) last year.
