Many Indians wish to pursue further education in the USA.
This is because American universities offer high academic standards, research opportunities and flexible degree specialisations.
However, numerous problems and uncertainties discourage many students from making this dream a reality.
In order to remove some of the doubt and confusion, Rediff.com offers a chat with Thomas A Farrel, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs, US Department of State. Tune in from 5.30 to 6.30 pm IST on Friday, March 23.
Mr Farrell will be in India next week as part of a delegation of US leaders from America's higher education institutions. The focus of the visit: "America wants to expand education collaboration with India."
He will be available to answer questions regarding educational opportunities for Indian students at US colleges and universities.
