Message:1. India (people) has achieved only 100 crore population. 2. It should aspire for development of the country. 3. It has failed in all things except in one or two matters. We should not blame INDIA. We should blame ourselves. 4. It should plan limitations in all of its development programs. 5. It should adopt improvement polices that which support for the development of our great contry. 6. It should change its present political policies. It should restrict politics in to development. 7. It should go to top in the world in development.

Message:The hope in the new milleneum would be the internet. The governance and functioning of all government bodies should be networked, there by bringing in greate measure of transparency to the system. The government also should take measures to see information poverty doesn't arise, by setting up internet kiosks similar to STD booths. The net also would bring along with it( hopefully ), zero tolerance towards compromise in quality of products and services etc. Government also being a service organization, this zero tolerance would start reflecting on the way the government functions. But the adage that people get the government that they deserve is an undebatable truth. More people should participate in the electoral process. People should make a conscious effort, not to resort to graft as the means of interacting with government. Review of constitution, privatization of PSU's are definitely efforts towards towards a better future.

Message:India should immediately change from the system of Adult Franchise to Educative Franchise. Privatise major sectors and follow a very very strict system of citizenship (like social security number in USA). Make education compulsory for all children and only one child per family. Only then can INDIA be a strong and independent country in this new century.

Message:india has failed to achieve what she should have achieved so far. india should be economically rich and independent, strong and vibrant republic with the citizens feeling sense of security and proud to be indians. it should be developed republic with its name taken seriously and with honour and dignity. corruption , right from day one of getting freedom, treachery by the people holding the most coveted positions, back stabbing by so called people who were supposed to ne creators and mentors, blunders made by the decison makers and mean minded , shrewd , corrupt and criminal politicians has been the cause of the state of affairs. illeteracy, castism and communalism has contributed and basic laid back arttitude of indians overall. it should review constitution, immediate population control with very hard and severe penalties, deal corruption with iron hand at all levels, more concentration towards education, removal of illeteracy, exports, technology development, major economic decisions , privatisation, and national mission where whole of india will work as team. if correct steps are taken now, may be we can survive few more years otherwise the days are not far away when the comming generation will read about india in history books.

Message:whatever india has achieved, it's far below satishfactory level. india has potential to lead this world. but,due to political mismanagement, it lost several opportunities to become one of the developed nation. there is a great need to remove red-tappism from system. it is the real barrier of the growth of india . india should concentrate on R & D sector, medicine, agriculture, IT industries. it must improve the condition of infra structure. the entry of private companies in the field of IT sector, infra structure, medicine & food processing field must be continued. the contry must increase the budget of R&D, education-basic & technical.it must give the priority to basic needs of defence. it should try to to increase the export also. if the basic programmes are implemented succesfully then by 2020 india will be one of the develop nations and can regain past glory.

Message:Hi, First of all i convey my best wishes to all my fellow indians on completion of 50 Republican Years !! To be frank we havent acheived nothing in the past 50 years. The best example i can suggest in this regard is "railways". Its suprise to hear that only 2500+KM new railway tracks were build after independece(konkan railways). This is a small example of how much we have acheived ....... Even in all the remaining areas like "education","industrialization","employment" etc.. we are not even near to the "success" what we have acheived in railways !! Painful but its a hard truth which everyone has to obey. The only growth what i have seen in this 50 years is "population"!! What i feel is India failed in all aspects in the last 50 years. Statistics are not with me but its a fact that nearly 40% of this country population is not even getting proper food, cloth and shelter. Why is it so ? Where is the problem ? Why rich is becoming more rich and poor are becoming very poor....? Just give a though !!! Plans: What i feel is some way or the other the BIG problem behind most of these failures is "POLITICS"! Yes, we need to "washout" this field. First of all each and everyone should realize the power of "vote". Choose the person who can help you. Its hardly difficult to findout these people but still you have to choose the "best"!. BJP govt. has comeup with the "review of constitution". What i feel is its a good and effective move towards a better India. But there are so many mis-understanadings in this regard. Most of the people are thinking in terms of "religion" and "reservation". Change in Constitution should be in terms of fundamental rights, it should be in terms of deligation of authority etc... Prepare a "course cirriculam" for politics.

Message:India is marching ahead in many fields. Especially in Science and technology despite the ban on imports for many items does not slow down the progress. Economical growth including exports is increasing every year. But it can be still improved by providing adequate power and infrastructure. The industries are rushing towards ISO certification to be at large in the global market. The main hindrance for the country is its population which is the cause for illiteracy that leads to poverty, child labor, non-employment and increase in crimes etc. The government has to take rigorous program to overcome this huge problem. We experienced that the awareness programs did not work. It is time to take some strict decision , punishing measure is also not ruled out. One thing has to be regretted is Indian politics . Since Coalition governments are unavoidable, the parties in the coalition should realize their responsibility. And the opposition parties now a days blindly oppose any move taken by the government for their survival with out thinking whether it is good for the country or not. Switching between the parties and starting new parties for their personal benefits are clearly shows it is no more public service. Needless to say about the corruption from low level to the top level in almost all the departments. To overcome the above, constitution must be changed to see that full 5 years term for the government. Law has to be enforced not to switch between parties until the next elections. Anti corruption/bribery acts must be taken severely. One good thing happening in the country is judiciary which is acting independently in many cases with out the political interference. The country experienced this in many occasions. With in another 20 years, we all hope India would be a developed country and economical superpower in the world and per capita income would be of equivalent to other rich nations.

Message:It is so easy for us to blame politicians and bureaucrats for all the maladies enveloping us. Why do we forget the part the ordinary individual plays in it? We are the ones who elect those representatives, we are the ones who give bribes to get things done our way. I think we need to get out of the mentality of blaming others for all the ills and look within ourselves to find answers to problems of corruption and poverty. The consitution supports the right of the ordinary citizen, let's take it from there. Cheers.

Failings: India lacks strong sense of Nationalism and cohesiveness. III. Aspirations: Social and Economic revolution for the upliftment of underpriviledged masses by intensification of public and private effort. IV. What should Change: The approach and attitude of "haves" towards "have-nots" should undergo a sea-change towards fellow feeling, compasion, and oneness.

Message:As a nation we have by all measures achieved so much - and in the next 50 years are on course to achieve far greater. However, a word of caution. We as a nation must never forget that whatever strides we make 250 million+ of our fellow Indians live in abject poverty and are steeped in a cycle of illiteracy and ignorance. Add to this a fearfull increase in arrogance of a number of 'INDIANS' abroad as well as home who believe that such people lack the desire and motivation to help themselves - 'as they have done'. It is this that is India's greatest challenge in the next 50 years - and all our gains will pale in to insignificance if we as a nation still allow this disease to flourish!.

Message:What has India achieved so far? . Slow and Steady growth in certain sectors like science and technology. It has achieved to great extent on education, but needs a lot to be done yet, Whatever though it has done and it is now, the times have changed and hence all that is done is not relevant anymore. What should it aspire for? Catch up with time. World changes so fast and India is laggin behind in every field. It should aspire for another America or even better place than that! What are its failings? Not having become like-America. How should it plan its future? What policies should it adopt? What should it change? Where does it go on from here? . Build society - bring modern concepts into living, social by improving civic and common awareness among people. Education should be made fundemental right and free excellent education must for all under the age of 12. Set minimum standards that would be the maximum standards in other country. For example, if you need to be a politician, you will have completed a master degree in politics, with 5 years of public service. Build infrastructure to aid visions of younger Indians. We need roads that match or better than American roads. If Amercia with a population of 1/5th of India can have 10lanes in a road, then India needs to have 50 lanes in a road.. you get the Idea! Basically provide a plan that is extensible. Plan for 3000, but the plan will also include stages to 3000 year by year. Do it right and Do it Fast! No public projects should be implemented by Government, instead it should only govern it. Increase efficiency, and we have educated laurettes to handle these. Use them. . Build industries based on the strength of the people. India is a vast place, use it with intelligence. . Bring modern theory into practice, keeping the old values or exte

Message:50 years after the constitution was framed India has achieved a lot and has left more to be desired. The 2 costliest blunders comitted by the fathers of the then-infant nation was ignoring population control and receding a part of Kashmir to Pakistan. The former is the root cause for most of the problems faced by the country today and the latter led to the creation of a demonic neighbour who is an endless annoyance to the country. Can we right these wrongs?

Message:I think India has done considerably well considering we started off as a country of mostly illiterates and poor people. However my observations of the people of India is that they do not seem to understand that if they are to lead a better live and improve the standard of living for themselves (let alone the others) then it is imperative that each one educated and able should undertake the personal responsibility to educate one other. I am talking of the ordinary person who has domestic help, can you spend one extra hour everyday teaching the help simple reading and writing ? teach them simple civic sense such as do not cut trees. You may think it is useless they do not listen try and then give up. I have been observing the youth of India mainly the rich and affluent teenagers. They seem to have such a distorted view of life. I see them apeing the western life style blindly and not necessarily obsorbing the virtues from the west. All the kids I meet seem to think thier goal is somehow to make it to the west mainly USA. Many of these kids are not even in hard core sience subjects how do they think they will succeed. Even if their parents spend money and send them thier it is not easy to find jobs there. How many people will the west absorbe they only look for people who are useful to them and everyone who wants to migrate there. Shouldnt someone tell these kids they should try to clean up shop here and if they suceed in going west more power to them but if they do not suceed at least they need not feel lost.

Message:India's problems and achievements are well known. The Indian "middle-class" needs to accept the urgency of its responsibility to firmly engage itself in the social and political processes that define the nations fabric. We cannot resign the fate of our children, our environment and our nation, to gundas and college drop-outs. Its not enough to be a doctor, engineer or software whiz-kid. We have to learn to be citizens.

Message:First thing India needs to tackle is basic neccesities for common man.Like 24 hours electricity, 24 hour drinking water. Good roads so people can travel and do business instead of spending hours on crowded and polluted roads. make our transport system best in the world. At present our trains, buses are used for people but it is not even fit for cattles. Cattle trains and buses for Indian masses, in 21 st centuary, come on, wake up India. The solution is simple but those babus in Delhi and the state ministers with pan-parag lack vision in a global way. They cannot see beyound thier own village boundry. They fail to ask the questions like,"is this good for my India. Am I doing the right thing. Will it survive for nect 20 to 30 years with pride". Buses, airports, trains and railway stations should be made more humain so we feel dignified and not feel like pigs. Corruption and bribe takers should be paraded on the streets with signs hanging on their necks for one month to shame them and you will see such things will be history. Let those young university student rebel against any police or politician's injustce against common man. Bring them out in open and expose them in public, let everyone see how backward and small minded he is. But ours is a strange country. When Jaylalita was sentenced for using her office to her advantage, Indians instead of being joyful burned three girls in a bus. What a country. The truth comes out and instead holding her guilty people supported her for taking bribes while in state Minstry office. We keep our homes clean but what would it take to make India clean. Use films and school education to improve this dirty problems. We have been living in a garbage, dustbin for 2000 years. In Usa they think Indians are the dirtiest people on earth. Not a single state minister tries to do something about it.Millions of unemployed can be given jobs to clean streets and the place a hef

Message:India has come up to this level of development on its own inspite of its corrupt politicians. India has all resources and skills to become a super power and a developed country. I believe the Law and Order should have more stringent measures to punish the criminals if proved guilty rather than giving soft corners and abusing the loopholes of the Law. There should be more awareness on the population growth. Individual Identity Cards are a must in future to track down the illegal immigrants as India's border runs along with many other small countries. Information Technology should be used to its best to serve all these purposes as does Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. If this happens, then I hope, India will march ahead to lead other countries.

The people has the tendency to live leisurely in other people money. The liberalisation policy has been a great success and it should be continued. The people of the country must become more aggressive and try to earn more money and create wealth. There is no evil in money earning and the people has to be educated and there should be a revamp of the educational system from the lower level in a gradual way. There is a lot of things the people can achieve the only thing they have to believe in hard work , have a ambition and work towards it.

But we were nurturing on our heritage. India's boggest asset is its human resources. Our thirst for knowledgs was passed from ages, which made us unbeatable. The second important point is its foreign policies and developmental policies which was derived from our culture and values , and we had visionery leaders who could implement it.This resulted in our self sufficiency.( The financial curbs by US is only a news , it is not affecting a common indian) But in late 80's and 90's we are more into copying of the values, methods, and systems of others. We are going for economic reforms copied from other countries , we take management techniques from japanese , when we have the greatest management guru of ages -Sreekrishna (Bagawadgeetha). We can lead the world only when we become a good leader. Basic characteristics of the leader is its self made vision. We will have to look back and learn from the past and derive a new model in all the areas. Since we are having all varieties of people, culture etc we are the only country who can ultimately lead the world. So the basic thing is to build a nation of our dreams. Where no communalisn, cast and creed. Equal consideration for poor and rich. For this we need to have good leaders. We all have to nurture younger generations to become good leaders and to lead us to a better tomarrow

People should get aware of things going on in the country, take interest to participate in community events. Select a good candidate for their village/town/city to lead. I still believe there are lot of places where people vote for the symbol and not for the person. If 40% of the people doesn't VOTE then how do you think a better candidate will be selected. Even by knowing the realities about the politicians, if they still select them, I doubt if it improves in future. Save INDIA from going backward.....
