SHOCKING: Man takes off shirt during PM's speech!

A man raised slogans against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and attempted to disrupt his speech at a conference at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi today.

The protester has been released after he was detained for questioning. Just when the PM was about to begin his speech, the man, who was seated in the audience, stood up on a table, took off his shirt and shouted slogans like "pradhanmantri vapas jao (Prime Minister go back)."

He also demanded a rollback of the recent hike in diesel prices.

What's keeping Aishwarya busy

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lately attended a press conference after being named a Goodwill Ambassador at UN headquarters.

The 38-year-old L'Oreal spokeswoman and former Miss World said that the appointment is a 'turning point' in her life.

Aishwarya Rai says she'll be more than a poster girl for a UNAIDS initiative, launched last year. The initiative aims to prevent the spread of HIV to babies and keep infected mothers alive in 22 countries, including India.

She says as a new mother, she can relate to the joys and concerns of every mother and the hope that we have for our children.

The first trailer of Emraan Hashmi's forthcoming film Rush, in which he has been paired with hottie Neha Dhupia released this week.

After the sad demise of its director Shamim Desai, this thriller's fate was in the doldrums. Emraan came to the makers' rescue and helped complete the project.

Devanand will live forever: Suneil Anand

September 26 marked Dev Anand's 89th birthday. At Sun N Sand in Juhu in Western Mumbai suburb, the late legend's favourite hotel where he held most of his filmi parties, his son Suneil Anand celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake along with thespian Tom Alter.

Anand passed away following a heart attack in December last year. On his birthday, his son cut a cake and announced a film called Vagator Mixer.

'My father wanted to make an English film and the last time we were in London, he wrote three scripts," Anand said.

Vagator Mixer is written by Suniel Anand.

The price tag that this new generation Phantom carries is Rs 4.50 crore. The prices for the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase, Phantom Coupe and the Drophead Coupe of the same family will also be dependent on the client specification.

The new Series II though sees some cosmetic changes in technology, it does retain the basics of the Phantom family. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II made its debut in the presence of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars general manager for emerging markets Asia, Herfried Hasenoehrl and Hal Serudin who is the corporate communications manager, Asia-Pacific, along with director, sales & marketing, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Mumbai, Sharad Kachalia.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan will be Yash Chopra's final film as director, Bollywood's 'king of romance' announced on Thursday.

Chopra's disclosure, made at an event marking his 80th birthday with actor Shah Rukh Khan by his side, took the Indian film industry by surprise.

"I think I've had enough, Shah Rukh," Chopra replied when Khan asked him about his next project. "I have always lived according to what my heart tells me," he said.

"I won't make any film after Jab Tak Hai Jaan."
