Lakhs of people gathered at Sena Bhavan, the headquarters of the Shiv Sena, where the cortege of party supremo Bal Thackeray, made a halt before it headed to Shivaji Park for the final rites.
Only family and senior Sena leaders were allowed entry inside the building where the body was kept for 30 minutes.
