Poonam Pandey, the girl who managed to get all the attention she needed during the cricket world cup is back!
The model who promised to strip if India were to win the World Cup didn't exactly keep up her word but has just released a bikini calendar!

Poonam Pandey is also one of the contestants for the next season of Khatron Ke Khiladi alongside VJ Bani, Kashmera Shah and Mauli Dave among others.

Pandey's calendar is brought out by a little-known company called Sungold Entertainment that claims to have produced a little known Hindi movied called Kya Hum Zinda Hain: A Heartless Life and a Gujarati movie called Hun Premi No 1.

Shilpa Shetty pregnant!

Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty is pregnant with her first child. Both Shilpa and her entrepreneur husband Raj Kundra are reported to be thrilled with the news. The couple had tied the knot in November 2009.

Shilpa, who's also the co-owner of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals, is eagerly looking forward to the baby. She had stated in some earlier media interviews that she is really keen on starting a family soon.

While this child will be Shilpa's first, husband Raj Kundra already has a daughter from his previous marriage.

Radio One hosted its first concert under the initiative 'One Mumbai, One Music', with Ghazal maestro and Guru, Jagjit Singh, on tuesday,10th May at Shanmukhananda Auditorium in Mumbai.

This initiative is aimed at providing listeners the chance to experience music across genres under one platform. Speaking on the occasion, Jagjit Singh said, "It is a very good effort by Radio One to promote new talent and give them a platform and an audience to perform but it also depends on the artist to make the right use of it."

Sehwag's out of IPL

Virender Sehwag has been ruled out of the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches this season as he will undergo a surgery on his injured shoulder, a development which may also make him unavailable for India's forthcoming tour of the West Indies


Australian all-rounder James Hopes has been appointed the captain for Delhi Daredevils for their remaining three matches.


Delhi Daredevils CEO Amrit Mathur said that Sehwag will be proceeding to England for the surgery and Hopes has been given the responsibility of leading the team in the remaining matches.


"We will miss Sehwag. But he has to undergo the surgery and that is why he will not take any further part in the IPL", Mathur said.

The new trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's next production is out.

Always Kabhi Kabhi stars fresh faces like Ali Fazal (last seen in 3 Idiots as Jay Lobo, who commits suicide, thanks to all the pressure), Brazilian beauty Giselle Monteiro (of Love Aaj Kal fame) and debutantes Zoa Morani (Cineyug honcho Karim Morani's daughter) and Satyajeet Dubey in central characters.

The film has been directed by Roshan Abbas.

The supporting cast is a curious mix of actors who are known to be quite adept at tickling the funny bone -- Satish Shah, Lillete Dubey, Vijay Raaz and Manoj Joshi.

The film is inspired from Abbas' 1999 play Graffitti and is a coming-of-age story of four college friends.

Boy trapped in cooker

A three- year- old boy named Shivam from Delhi had his head stuck in the pressure cooker. He was playing with the cooker when his father heard him crying and found him with his head trapped in the cooker. He was rushed to the hospital where after two hours of painstaking efforts, the doctors were able to get his head safely out of the cooker. A team of twelve doctors used equipment like saw, screwdriver to rescue the child.

Taking a swipe at the over three-decade-old Left rule in West Bengal, Banerjee said, "This is a victory of the people over 35 years of atrocities, deprivation and oppression.

"Not only in Bengal and India [ Images ], people across the world were waiting for this verdict and we express our gratitude to all of them," Banerjee said.

She said her government will bring democracy and end "one-party domination" in every sphere of life.

"The win has come after a long struggle and it was just like the freedom struggle," the 54-year-old leader said amid jubilation by her party workers.

Banerjee said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] and United Progressive Alliance [ Images ] chairperson Sonia Gandhi [ Images ] had called her to congratulate on the victory of the TMC-Congress alliance. "The prime minister is overwhelmed with our triumph," she said.

Amid fears that the change of government after so many years might trigger political violence in the state, she appealed to supporters to celebrate the victory peacefully.

Here's the new trailer of Anurag Kashyap's Shaitan.

A thriller, Shaitan is a story of a teenager's kidnapping gone wrong and marks the coming together of a lot of interesting actors. Kalki Koechlin, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Rajeev Khandelwal and Rajat Barmecha (of Udaan fame) will be seen playing the
various characters in the film.

There have been reports that the film is a re-hash of Kashyap's shelved film Paanch, which he eventually launched online. Rumours aside, the movie looks promising.

The new Trailer of Aamir Khan's latest production Delhi Belly is out.

Directed by Abhinav Deo, the film has been generating a lot of interest ever since Aamir Khan flagged it off .

According to director Abhinay Deo, "Delhi Belly is an ensemble piece. It's not a film about Imran Khan. He is only one of the several protagonists. There are others whose characters as just as important. There is Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das and Poorna Jagannathan, an Indian actress from LA"
