SWAT teams conduct a house to house search as they look for Dzhokar Tsarnaev

The second Chechen-origin suspect believed to have been responsible for the Boston marathon terror attack is now in custody, Boston police said on Saturday.

"Suspect in custody. Officers sweeping the area. Stand by for further info," the Boston Police twitted late on Friday night, ending hours of search operation in a Boston neighborhood.

Residents are asked to leave their home as SWAT teams conduct a house to house search for Dzhokar Tsarnaev

"The suspect is alive and has unspecified medical needs," a federal law enforcement official said on Friday night.

Federal officials later identified the suspect as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19. He is the younger brother of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was shot dead by the police on Friday. Dzhokar had managed to escape from there.
