Major blow! Congress stalwart Keshav Rao joins TRS
Senior Congress leader from Andhra Pradesh Keshav Rao resigned from his party on Thursday and joined the K Chandrashekhar Rao-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Hyderabad.
The resignation of the former Congress Working Committee member, who is considered close to party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi, is perceived to be a major setback for the electoral prospects of the ruling party.

Six more Congress MPs to follow suit
Similarly, other Congress MPs like Manda Jagannatham, Siricilla Rajaiah and G Vivek are likely to follow suit on June 2 with great fanfare.
With a spate of resignations, Congress dream projects of Land Reforms and Food Security Bill are unlikely to be passed.
Reports suggest that at least three more Congress MPs from the Telangana region are likely to move to TRS fold ahead of Parliament's Monsoon Session.
