For months they have been giving different dates, but on October 17th they finally tied the knot and became Mrs and Mr Saif Ali Khan. The much awaited wedding of stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor was celebrated affair in two cities Mumbai and Delhi. After a registered marriage, newly-weds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor went in for an exchange of vows before hosting a grand reception that went on till the wee hours today. The marriage at Saif's residence here was a simple affair yesterday afternoon, but the post-wedding functions at the South Mumbai hotel saw a host of B-town celebs like Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, Priety Zinta, Karan Johar, Tusshar Kapoor, Salman Khan's sister Alvira, Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam.

Saifeena's Dawat-e-waleema-Another grand reception



Delhi's who and who made beeline to most studded event on 18th of October. The Mughal theme based Saif-Kareena Dawat-e-waleema, saw high profile politicians, socialites attending the wedding reception of the stars. Politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Arun Jaitely, Farqook Abdullah, royalty like Jyotiradiya Scindia and many others graced the function to wish the couple.

Extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner landed safely on Earth after a 24-mile jump from the stratosphere in a dramatic, daring feat that may also have marked the world's first supersonic skydive. Baumgartner came down in the eastern New Mexico desert minutes after jumping from his capsule 128,000 feet, or 24 miles, above Earth. He lifted his arms in victory shortly after landing, sending off loud cheers from onlookers and friends inside the mission's control center in Roswell, N.M.

A five year old's tribute to Daniel Pearl



Five-year-old Jordan Pinto, a Class I student of St Stanislaus School in Bandra, gave a unique musical tribute to Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal scribe who was beheaded by the Taliban in Pakistan. Jordan is the youngest singer from Mumbai to join a memorial that is taking place worldwide throughout Pearl's birth month of October. The South-Mumbai restaurant Casa Soul Fry hosted this musical tribute on October 14th.
