Ice, ice EVERYWHERE at minus 30 degree Celsius

Nearly 11,000 villagers have been trapped and several homeless people killed after heavy snowfall hit Serbia's mountainous regions, according to media reports.

The death toll due to the severe cold wave is estimated to be above 120, said authorities.

The severe cold has caused traffic snarls, power cuts and shut down schools, shops and airports. The villagers are reportedly trapped in their homes in remote villages, which have been cut off by relentless blizzards.
