A post-poll survey conducted by CNN-IBN, The Week and CSDS in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur has revealed some interesting results.

The Samajwadi Party will win 34 per cent of the total vote share of the UP polls, according to the survey.

The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party will get only 24 per cent of the total vote share, says the survey.

In spite of extensive campaigning by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Congress's vote share -- 12 per cent -- will actually decrease by one per cent from the 2007 polls.

The Bharatiya Janata Party will get 14 per cent of the total vote share.

SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has emerged as the most popular choice for UP chief minister.
