AAP will ruin Congress, but Modi's still PM choice: poll

Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party likely to impact the Congress the most and other parties to a lesser extent in the Lok Sabha polls, predicts the snap poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen in Delhi and Mumbai.

According to the snap poll, in Mumbai and Thane, the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party alliance is likely to get around three seats in 2014 general elections as compared to 8 seats in 2009.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena combine is predicted to get 6 seats as compared to the single seat in 2009 while AAP likely to bag only one seat.

In Delhi, the poll predicts, Kejriwal's AAP likely to wipe off the Congress and secure 6 seats.

The Congress might not get a single seat as compared to the clean sweep of all 7 seats it made in the 2009 polls.

The poll was conducted in the 21 parliamentary constituencies in Delhi, NCR and Mumbai region between January 10-12, 2014 with 2585 respondents.

As per the poll data, Kejriwal's appeal seems restricted to Delhi as BJP's Narendra Modi leads in Mumbai and NCR with an overall votes of 48 per cent.

Congress scion Rahul Gandhi stands third in the race for prime minister with an overall 16 per cent votes.
