When Michelle towered over PM's wife

April 02, 2009 21:00 IST

Even as G-20 leaders deliberate to rescue the global economy, which is facing the worst crisis since the 1930s, their spouses kept themselves entertained at the Royal Opera House in London.

The group of 13 women, which included Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur, was entertained by author J K Rowling who read out excerpts from her new novel, The Tales Of Beedle The Bar.

They later watched a brief ballet and opera performance before posing for official pictures.
