When Aaji visited Matoshree

Last updated on: June 24, 2022 18:31 IST

Chandrabhaga Shinde, one of the Shiv Sena's oldest supporters, made the journey to Matoshree, Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray's home in Kala Nagar, the artist's enclave in Bandra East, north west Mumbai, on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Aaji (grandmother in Marathi) had come personally to assure 'Saheb', as Uddhav is known to the Sena faithful, of the cadres's support.

For Maharashtra's embattled chief minister who confronts the biggest challenge in his political career, Aaji's blessing must have provided some relief in a week of relentless bad news.
