Madhuri as Meena Kumari

Madhuri Dixit, who's been a judge on celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, will be returning to the show's fifth season on Colors.
The promos will have the dancing diva pay tribute to the late legend Meena Kumari.
The actress will also be dancing to the songs of other yesteryear Bollywood divas as a part of the promos.
For Meena Kumari tribute, Madhuri dons a sparkly pink Anarkali and performs a mujra on the famous song Thade rahiyo from Kamal Amrohi's Pakeezah

New York's WTC stands tallest at 1,250 feet!

The new World Trade Centre is a big attraction in New York city. The skyscraper, which is nearing completion is now 100 storeys high.
It will soon be the tallest building in New York City, surpassing the Empire State Building. Named 'One World Trade Centre', the 104-storey building will open next year.

The new World Trade Center (WTC) is a vision of downtown New York that combines modern, safe and sustainable commercial space, convenient transportation, and a destination cultural center.

The new WTC will include: Five new skyscrapers (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 WTC), the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Centre.
The World Trade Center Transportation Hub and 550,000 square feet of retail space.

Pawan Kalyan wants to cash in on the smashing success of the Salman Khan starrer, Dabangg.
The Power Star is all set with the Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster. Titled Gabbar Singh in Telugu, Pawan who essays the cop's role Gabbar Singh (Chulbul Pandey) has produced this film under his banner Pawan Kalyan Creative Works Banner.
Harish Shankar, who directed the successful Mirapakai, hasl directed Gabbar Singh, the first production of Pawan's banner.

I am a sportsman, not a politician: Sachin

Finally breaking his silence over his Rajya Sabha nomination, Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar today said that he was nominated because he had represented India for 22 years through cricket. Sachin made it clear that although he was proud and honoured for his nomination, he was a sportsman first and foremost, and would always continue to be one. The master blaster further expressed his deep desire to work for sports and sportsmen after his retirement.

Menon's family celebrates after his release

"I feel happy as a parrot that has just been let off from a cage," said Varadhas, father of Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon, who was released after being held in captivity by Maoists for 13 days.
An overjoyed Varadhas, who shared sweets with family and friends soon after hearing the news, said he had spent sleepless nights and had not eaten well from the day his son was abducted.
A celebratory mood pervaded Menon's houses in Chennai and Tirunelveli, minutes after his release as his family members and friends burst crackers and distributed sweets to those who had gathered there.
