The Censor Board seems to have sprung into action yet again. And this time Sanjay Gupta's upcoming gangster film has come under CBFC's radar. The board has apparently taken an objection to certain words in Sunny Leone's item number in the film from being aired as part of the television promo. And to comply with the board's demands, the makers have altered the lyrics from Laila teri le legi to Laila teri loot legi for the telly audience. A source says, "The Censor Board felt that it had to be changed to make it more appropriate for the TV audience. The makers had to re-dub the line and the new version will now be shown on television."Watch the song on rediff.com.

Anti-rape lingerie to protect women

Toss aside your pepper spray and mace, ladies – there's a new form of rape protection coming soon to a store near you! Several engineering students at an Indian university are in the process of developing a special nightgown, the Society Harnessing Equipment (S.H.E.), that is equipped with electric currents that can shock someone who makes an unwanted advance toward the wearer. The garment itself is equipped with enough power to shoot out 82 electric shocks at 3,800 kV and is lined with a special polymer that prevents the wearer from being zapped. It is also wired with a GPS device so that police and parents can be notified as soon as the attack occurs. The students are also working on adding a Bluetooth device to the lingerie and making it water-resistant and washable. They came up with the idea for the S.H.E. after a New Delhi woman was gang-raped and died last year.

Mamata Banerjee calls Delhi unsafe

After cancelling her scheduled meeting with finance minister P Chidambaram to leave for Kolkata, West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said that Delhi was a highly unsafe place. A day after she was heckled along with her Finance minister Amit Mitra by Left protesters here, Mamata alleged that the police did not cooperate at all while she was being manhandled. Banerjee, on her return from Delhi on Wednesday, was admitted to a nursing home after she developed breathing problems. She had cancelled her meeting with Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram in the national capital. "She is undergoing tests like MRI," said a doctor treating Banerjee at Belle Vue Clinic.TMC secretary-general and state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee said the chief minister was feeling low after the incident in Delhi. State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee, who had accompanied Banerjee to Delhi, said: "It was a ploy to kill her. Had Firhad Hakim (state urban development minister) not prevented an SFI supporter from attacking her with an iron rod, she would have received fatal injuries. "The Delhi Police failed completely to provide protection to our chief minister. They should have made full-proof security arrangements. The way SFI and CPM supporters attacked us is shameful."
