Video: When a Gujarati campaigns for a 'Keralan'

Deepak Babaria, the All India Congress Committee secretary from Gujarat, was one of the many people on the stage before Defence Minister A K Antony's election address in Cheranalloor, Kochi. 

Babaria was on his maiden visit to Kerala and said he did not know Malayalam. So while others gave fiery speeches in chaste Malayalam, Babaria spoke in English.

Among other things, he repeatedly lauded the 'Keralans' for giving direction to the rest of the country in literacy and progressive thinking.

Romans, Americans, Egyptians, Brazilians.. watch out! Here come the Keralans...
