Rediff.com's data journalists have broken down 2012 district-wise National Crime Record’s Bureau data into a constituency-wise listing.

All seven constituencies in Delhi, especially Chandni Chowk (483 kidnapping cases per million population), figure among the top 10 constituencies with the highest incidence of kidnapping in the country. Completing the top 10 listing are three constituencies in Assam – Kaliabor (144 cases per million population), Dhubri (136 cases per million population) and Jorhat (131 cases per million population)
