Be cautious while you drive on these deadly roads!

According to data released by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Indore, Jabalpur, and Raipur are among India's most accident-prone cities.

The map, above, shows us the number of road accidents per one lakh people, represented by the size of the circle and its severity (deaths per 100 road accidents).

The severity of the accident is represented by the colour of the circle for million cities in India. Million cities are areas with a population over a 10 lakh.

The cities with the lowest number of accidents are Dhanbad, Amritsar, and Jamshedpur.

When one look at the severity of the accidents taking place, Ludhiana, Dhanbad and Amritsar top the list while Mumbai, Kochi and Bhopal record the least number of deaths per 100 accidents.
