August 16, 2011 20:34 IST

National Democratic Front of Boroland 'chairman' Ranjan Daimary on Tuesday declared his willingness for talks with the government.

"The ceasefire, which we announced unilaterally, is going in the right direction," Daimary told reporters after being produced in the court of the chief magistrate in Guwahati.

Daimary, the prime accused in the October 2008 serial blasts, announced unilateral ceasefire and desire for negotiation after his arrest.

Members of the pro-talk faction of NDFB after surrendering have been lodged in designated camps.
