Expressing anguish at the role of a New Delhi-based hospital, which allegedly sheltered Sajal Jain, the prime accused in the case, NWC chairperson Poornima Advani said: "There is sufficient evidence to say that it [the case]

should lead to proper justice. But justice should be quickly meted out."

Advani and another member of the commission spent a day in Ahmedabad on Saturday meeting the victim's family and the investigating officers.
"We can say that our inquiry has been completed to a large extent, but not completely. We will be preparing a detailed report," Advani said.

She said the investigations should have been completed earlier, but it was "delayed during important stages."
