Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday met President Pratibha Patil and discussed various issues of national and international importance, including the forthcoming SAARC summit.
A Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said the meeting between the two, which lasted for about half an hour, also focused on the ongoing Budget session in Parliament.
The prime minister is understood to have apprised Patil about his latest visit to the US and Brazil.
