September 24, 2015 09:56 IST

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at The Waldorf Astoria in New York amid a rousing welcome by the India Diaspora.

Modi’s supporters thronged the Big Apple to get a glimpse of the popular PM. They stood for hours with placards; some with dhols dressed up in traditional finery. It was a desi party on the streets of New York.
