In yet another blow to jailed RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin, a special court in Bihar's Siwan district on Friday sentenced him to one-year rigorous imprisonment in a case, in which he threatened to kill the officer in-charge of a police station.
According to police sources, the FIR in the case was filed in 2005.
The RJD MP was arrested in Delhi in November 2005 in connection with pending non-bailable warrants of arrest against his name.
The fourth-term MP from Siwan was later brought to Bihar on remand and lodged in the high-security Bhagalpur jail for six months before
