Nitish Kumar to campaign in UP polls from Jan 29

January 24, 2012 21:04 IST
Ending speculation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is said to campaign for his party nominees in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly polls from January 29.

Janata Dal (United)  leaders, on Tuesday, said that Nitish Kumar will join the campaign for the party's nominees in some selected constituencies in the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.

According to J D(U)
leaders, Nitish Kumar will also campaign against his closet ally, BJP's candidates in the UP polls.

However, Nitish is unlikely to speak anything directly against the BJP, J D(U) leaders said. "He will mainly attack Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party in the campaign," said JD(U).

JD(U) is contesting alone in UP assembly polls.
