At least 15 villagers were killed and 19 injured on Monday in Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh, bordering Jharkhand, when their truck overturned.
Eleven persons were killed on the spot and four in hospital and 19 injured as the truck in which they were travelling overturned in Awarajharia area, about 525 km from the state capital, Balrampur Police told PTI over phone.
The truck laden with bauxite was going from Balrampur to Jharkhand when the mishap took place.
