A local court has issued non-bailable warrants against the organisers of the trade fair where a devastating fire broke out on April 10, killing more than 50 people.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Jai Shankar Mishra issued non-bailable warrants for Lakhan Tomar, Aasit Gupta and Sidharath Manohar, who have been evading arrest since the incident.

The court also asked the Investigating Officer to file a report in this regard by Saturday.

According to District Magistrate Mukesh Mesham, 77 of the wounded had been discharged while 93 were still being treated in various hospitals, including 49 in Meerut and 44 in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad.

However, there is no clue about Malti Tayal, Vandana Giridhar, Aadesh Yadav and Ramanand Gupta, who have reportedly been missing since the incident, he said.
