Union Minister of State for Home Sri Prakash Jaiswal will visit Jehanabad on Wednesday three days after the daring Maoist attack to review the situation.
Jaiswal, who arrived in Patna early morning to campaign for the Congress during fourth phase of polls told newspersons that he will visit Jehanabad town to personally assess the situation after the Maoist attack.
He said that the Centre favour a detailed inquiry into the Maoist attack."We want the state to go for a high level inquiry into the incident," he said.
Jaiswal, however, refuted the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance allegations that the Maoist attack was a total failure of the central government and that Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was behind it."NDA's allegations were baseless, there is no truth in that. They were fed up and frustrated and free to say anything," he said
Jaiswal said the NDA during its six year rule had done nothing to solve the Maoist problem in country and that they hardly made any attempt to deal with the issue, except talk big.
