Maharashtra CM's wife robbed in train

Satvasheela Chavan, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, was robbed of her purse and mobile phones while travelling in the Maharashtra Express train near Manmad on Saturday.

Chavan, who took the train from Karad on Saturday evening to visit a medical college in Jalgaon in north Maharashtra, was travelling in a two tier air-conditioned

compartment.

Her purse contained cash of Rs 40,000. No police complaint was lodged.
