'Smriti Irani, Kapil Sibal, Kumar Vishwas set to lose'

BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is predicted to win both seats -- Varanasi and Vadodara. Kejriwal is places at number 2 in Varanasi, says the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll. Senior BJP leader L K Advani is likely to win the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha for the sixth time.

According to the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll, Congress president Sonia Gandhi is likely to retain the Gandhi bastion of Rai Bareilly. Rahul Gandhi, the Congress vice president, is likely to win the Amethi seat, while BJP’s Smriti Irani is expected to be the first runner-up, while Kumar Vishwas of the AAP is predicted to lose in Amethi.

As per the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav will win the Azamgarh seat but will face a close fight from sitting BJP MP Ramakant Yadav. Mulayam is likely to retain his Mainpuri seat too. BJP MP Shatrughan Singh Chauhan will lose from Mainpuri, says the poll.

In Delhi, the Aam Admi Party’s Ashish Khetan is predicted to win the seat. Sitting Congress MP Ajay Maken likely to lose while BJP’s Meenakshi Lekhi is predicted to be second in the race.

According to the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll, in Chandni Chowk, BJP’s Harsh Vardhan is likely to win but will face a close fight from AAP’s Ashutosh. Sitting MP Kapil Sibal of Congress is likely to lose.

In Saran, former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi is likely to win the seat vacated by RJD chief Lalu Yadav. According to the exit poll, BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy is likely to give a close fight to Rabri. In Madhepura, there is a close fight between RJD’s Pappu Yadav and JDU’s sitting MP Sharad Yadav.

According to the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll, in Patliputra, Lalu’s daughter Misa Bharti is predicted to win, but will face a close fight from BJP’s Ram Kirpal Yadav.

In Guna, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya (BJP) is likely to win the seat, while sitting MP Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia of Congress is predicted to be the first runner-up, as per the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll.

According to the exit poll, in Nagpur, BJP’s Nitin Gadkari is likely to win, while Anjali Damania of Aam Admi Party will lose.

In Mumbai North Central, Congress MP Priya Dutt is likely to retain her seat and will beat BJP’s Poonam Mahajan.

In Mumbai South, Arvind Sawant of the Shiv Sena is likely to win. Sitting MP Milind Deora from Congress is likely to be second in the race. AAP’s Meera Sanyal is predicted to lose.

In Mumbai North-east, BJP’s Kirit Somaiya is expected to win. NCP’s Sanjay Dina Patil is likely to be the first runner-up with Medha Patkar of AAP losing the seat.

In Baramati, NCP’s Supriya Sule is likely to retain the seat.

According to the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll, in Amritsar, Congress’ Captain Amrinder Singh is predicted to win the seat but will face a close fight from BJP’s Arun Jaitley.

In Sivaganga, Karti Chidambaram from Congress likely to lose to Senthilnathan, Pr. of ADMK, as per the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll.

The exit poll for 31 VIP Constituencies for General Elections 2014 was conducted by ABP News-The Nielsen during 8th April, 2014 to 12th May, 2014 with 13715 respondents. The confidence interval (margin of error) assumed for vote share prediction lies in the ranges of ±5%.
