Election snapshots: Northeast decides its future

Six constituencies speared across four north-eastern are currently casting their ballot in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

Voting is being held in one seat each in Nagaland and Manipur and two seats each in Arunchal Pradesh and Meghalaya. In Arunachal Pradesh, simultaneous elections are being held for 49 of the 60 assembly seats.
