Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M Karunanidhi is scheduled to fly to Delhi on his 88th birthday on Friday where he is likely to meet his daughter Kanimozhi, who is lodged in Tihar jail in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation case.
This would be the second visit by Karunanidhi in the last few days to meet his daughter, sources said.
Kaniomozhi was lodged in the Tihar jail after a Central Bureau of Investigation court rejected her bail plea and ordered her arrest on May 20 in connection with the transfer of Rs 200 crore from 2G spectrum scam co-accused Shahid Balwa's DB Realty to Kalaignar TV, in which the DMK MP holds a 20 per cent stake.
