Hours before the 48-hour bandh called by the Maoists in Jharkhand, the ultras on Saturday blew up a panchayat hall and a school building in Palamau district.
There was no report of any casualty in the incident that took place in Pipra village in the district, the Superintendent of Police Jatin Narwal said in Palamau.
The Maoists planted the explosives inside the buildings and triggered the blast, he said.
