Tanvir Jaffrey, the son of former member of Parliament Ehsaan Jaffrey, who was killed in the post-Godhra riots in 2002, has lodged a complaint against the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's Praveen Togadia.

Togadia had threatened Zakia Jaffrey and activist Teesta Setalvad after he was summoned by the Special Investigation Team probing the post-Godhra riots.

Jaffrey handed over the complaint to Director general of Police SS Khandwawalla on Friday. In the complaint Jaffrey had said that Togadia made the threats when he spoke to the media after being interrogated on May 10.
