Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research: Bangalore Admission to Research Programmes
 
The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore, was established by the Department of Science and Technology, to pursue and promote research at the highest level in frontier and interdisciplinary areas of science and engineering.
 
JNCASR, a deemed university, offers opportunities for bright and motivated students to conduct research in an intellectually and technologically rich environment. Attractive scholarships, in accord with national norms, are provided.
 
The Centre invites applications for admission to Ph D, MS, MS (Engineering) and Integrated Ph D programmes.

2. Eligibility
   i. Qualification in GATE/UGC-CSIR-JRF/IISc/JEST exam. 
  ii. Candidates with Masters degree in Engineering/Tech/Medicine do not require a qualifying exam.
