Vajpayee, Hema to campaign for BJP in Haryana

The Bharatiya Janata Party will use former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, party chief Lal Kishenchand Advani and Bollywood stars like Hema Malini in its campaign for the Haryana assembly election in February.

Polling in Haryana will take place on February 3 alongside first phase of polling in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Other political bigwigs likely to campaign for the party in Haryana include former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti, senior leaders Sushma

Swaraj, Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu and Pramod Mahajan.

While Vajpayee will address public meetings at Yamunanagar, Rohtak and Rewari on January 25 and February 1,
Advani's tour schedule is still being chalked out, BJP general secretary Shivraj Singh Chauhan told reporters in New Delhi.

Hema Malini's tour chart is also ready and final touches are being given to Vinod Khanna, Dara Singh and Dharmendra's schedules.

The BJP is contesting all 90 seats in Haryana.
