The shooting took place at the LA Fitness Centre in Bridgeville, near the Pittsburgh international airport.
The gunman entered a Latin dance class
for women, carrying a bag. He then turned off the lights and opened fire on the participants before turning the gun on himself. The shooter's name has not been revealed. The wounded were rushed to hospitals in the area.
One of the witnesses described the shooter as a 'middle-aged white male.'
