Advani, Venkaiah to attend Pandya's funeral

Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani and BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu will attend former Gujarat home minister Haren Pandya's funeral to be held on Thursday.

"We (Advani and Naidu) are leaving for Ahmedabad on Thursday to attend Pandya's funeral," Naidu clarified to reporters as he had earlier told them that the duo would reach Ahmedabad by Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, Advani told reporters in Delhi that intelligence agencies have also being asked to assist the Gujarat police in the investigation into the murder.
