Four persons, believed to be businessmen, were Wednesday found murdered in a farm house at Panvel in Raigad district, police said.
One victim had bullet injury while three others were allegedly bludgeoned to death in the farm house belonging to one Datta Patil in Shiravali village, police added.
Preliminary probe ruled out robbery as the reason behind the murders of the four men who were found dead by a servant of the farm house on Wednesday morning, police said.
The bodies were taken to nearby hospital, police said, adding that the motive behind the murder was not yet clear.
