Bihar: Cache of explosives seized from Maoists

A huge cache of explosives, including 40,000 to 45,000 detonators and 10 quintal of ammonium nitrate, meant for Maoists were recovered from Bihar's Naxalite-hit Rohtas district on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided an abandoned godown near Amaratalab and recovered the explosives. 100 gelatine sticks and several metres of fuse wire were among the explosives seized.

The identity of the owner of the godown was being ascertained, the sources added.
