Three Indians, including a teenager, were among five people killed when a bus coming to the United Arab Emirates from Oman overturned near Sohar.

The vehicle turned turtle after one of its tyre burst on Saturday, reports quoted witnesses as saying. Scores of injured passengers were hospitalised.

Two of the Indians were identified as Bensi Abraham (16) and Binu Neetu Raj, a dentist.

The bus belonged to the Oman National Transport Corporation.
