Dom's Take: Modi will charm next US Prez!

Will it be Trump once again for four years at the White House?

Or will it be Biden?

All eyes around the world are set on the outcome of the US presidential election on November 3, 2020.

Prime Minister Modi has a good rapport with Trump, but remember he was friendly with Obama -- whose vice-president Biden was -- too.

Whoever the resident at 1600, Pennyslyvania Avenue, where the White House stands, there is alignment in both the Democratic and Republican parties that India is one of America's trustworthy allies this century.

Though there must be some anxiety in the prime minister's office about how America will decide -- given Modi's 'Next time, Trump Sarkar' partisan shout at the Howdy Modi event in Houston in September 2019 -- Dominic Xavier is in no doubt that whoever the next American president is, our prime minister will quickly charm him and envelop him in the Modian bear hug.
